The River Conditions for G.R.Colford & Sons on the Main South West Miramichi River in New Brunswick Canada. The weather was high of 10C a very nice day but a little windy on the river.

It was another tuff day fishing on the Miramichi. Still a lot of ice flowing on the Miramichi making the catching almost impossable, with grass on almost every cast and making trolling impossable to do.

This photo was taken in July of last year.

The Cains river today was cleaning up but still had a lot of grass and sticks floating down it aswell. I expect to have better conditions tomorrow on the Cains and hopefully hook up.

There is still some more ice Jams up the SW Miramichi to come down above Boistown. Please be carefull of them if your fishing the lower section of the Miramichi River.

There were rumors of a couple fish being landed at the Mouth of Cains River today. I hope there will be lots more tomorrow.

Tight lines,
