Need help identifying

My grandpa found this old bamboo rod in his attic a few days ago. He says it was given to him by a family member about 50 years ago. Would love some help identifying the manufacturer, value, and any info you all may have. I believe it says "A (unknown) tested and approved product. The rod is around 6 ft long and feels to be about a 6#.

Pretty sure that's a post WWII Japanese rod.
Not a lot of value at all. The one that I had as a kid was $3 new.
They're easy to ID from the reel seat. Chromed and kinda chintzy looking.

But at 6', it might be a good size to play with.
I have a Japanese rod that I rebuilt and use occasionally.
It's fun and actually casts great.
