Info on T&T fly rod

My father has what I think is a rather unique rod. It is a Thomas and Thomas model Sand P. Length 6'. 5 weight. 1 piece bamboo fly rod. Weight 2 1/8.

Any way to find the value of this rod? I know it seems vintage rods are not getting a lot of money these days. But i think it's an interesting rod, but I'm a little afraid to use it haha. Thanks!

Yep very similar. Except it's a 6' 1 piece instead of 7 piece. At least I now know what Sans P stands for.
