Placencia belize guide?

I read Chessieman's report on fishing with Bruce Leslie, thanks for the report. Does anyone have any advice on guides in Placencia good or bad experiences? I am heading down there in September and want several options on booking several day trips. Chessieman also could you post Mr. Leslie's contact info.

Try the guys at Blue Horizon Belize. Lincoln Westby is a local legend and loves to fish for permit.

I realize this was posted 2 years ago- but for anyone headed to Placencia, look up a guide named Ivan. Your hotel can locate him, it's a small town. His son does offshore trolling, Ivan Sr does Permit fishing. Excellent, hard working guide who can put you on fish. Tell him Jeff with the bad backing knot said to say hello!~ C'est la vie
