San Juan Report

Been fishing the Juan 2-3 times a week for the past month or so. Had the pleasure of hitting the legendary ant fall on Monday. Was a gas!! Big and black and floating was the ticket. Been fishing really good, midges are thick as thieves recently. 20 fish days are fairly common, change flies often and that will help out your catch rates. Weather has been warm as of late but starting to get some afternoon t-storms so that is making it bearable.

I hit the San Juan ant fall once. I fished huge black stimulators to the match fallen ants. Its a tremendous fly fishing opportunity when you're fortunate enough to catch it.
