CrowDuck Lake

I will arrive at CrowDuck Lake in the first week of July. I would appreciate any suggestions on what Fly's I should try for pike and walleye.

For the pike - big, gaudy, flashy streamers, as you would for musky. Also, try some big surface flies - poppers, mice. The surface takes can be explosive. And don't forget some bigger baitfish imitations (think perch).

Walleye - leeches, muddlers, leeches, smaller baitfish imitations and leeches.

Most of all, Crowduck is renowned for its population of trophy-sized smallmouths. Work the weedbeds.
