Default Seattle trip, might get a few hours for fishing

My wife and I are heading to Seattle on Saturday for a 5 day vacation, she mentioned tonight that it would be nice if I could do some fishing while we are their. She was really surprised when I told her the new 5wt. would fit in my bag...

We were hoping to get to the eastern Olympic Peninsula or Rainier area to do some hiking anyway, so any tips as to where I could wet a line? Preferably in the middle of a 4-7 mile hike. I am fairly new to fly fishing and my only trout have come from small water here in western Nebraska, but I would love to give it a try.

For whatever water is suggested a few flies to take would be great as well.

Thanks,
Nick
