    Default Hit The North FOrk of The New Yesterday

    Well me and dad were up at my aunts house in creston and were bound to do some fishing. So we go out the water is blown out so we start throwing big white streamers on the three weight. Sure enough I hooked in to an 18 inch brown with some 7x..... I think thats enough said. We did manage some smaller wild browns though, they were about 8 inches.

    You will be doing yourself a favor to pick up a spool of 8 lb fluorocarbon and use a level leader of this for streamer fishing. I've landed some pretty nice fish on it. Good to hear you caught some fish and got a lesson in leader strength at the same outing.
