    Default Sometimes things just work

You ever have one of those days where the conditions should be ideal but are not panning out that way? Today there was cool temps, a slight over cast and plenty of spinners milling around but nothing seemed to be on the water. The breeze was up more than I'd care for and I was casting into a nasty glare that made tracking my drift almost pointless. Like many cast before, I landed my size 16 parachute Hendrickson softly on the water and seconds later I lost it in the glare. Then it happened, I don't know why but I set the hook. My reward was a nice little 16" bow that pulled drag a couple of times. Has that ever happened to you? Just set the hook on a fish without seeing the rise almost telepathically? I guess sometimes things just work out.
