    Default Quick Go Pro Vid

Well, since I bought it, I've barely used it...so I might as well use it!

Just a little quick vid from fishing the Blue.

Looks like the fish was a fan of the Leisenring Lift at the end of that drift! That looks like a beautiful freestone you're fishing, I wish we had waters nearby that held trout in that size bracket, but unfortunately close by the fish jump from the 10-12" average to the steelhead bracket. While I don't have any problem with either, my 5wt has been complaining about being ignored...

    It's a bow.

CDOW is working hard to stock whirling disease resistant fish and these are the "older" brood stock that they are not using anymore.

These brood fish tend to be much more colorful due to their "farmed" diet.

Here's a "resident" fish that has been in the river for at least a year.

He was probably stocked a couple years ago since he still has his adipose fins and I think they've been clipping adipose fins for at least the last 2 stockings if not more.

But this river also contains mysis shrimp that really helps color up the fish, which is why a majority of them that are caught year round tend to have beautiful colors like this one.

The guy in the background better watch out, that last fish is about to eat his head!! With regard to the Mysis-eater in particular, that is an incredibly vibrant red in its cheek, flanks and fins! I gotta get out West...
