Default west yellow stone area info

I was given a trip to western edge retreat near the lower madison river near western yellow stone. I need to pick my week for this area and need some insight on what to expect. I am avid saltwater fly guy and ahave a few trips to Oregon under my belt , but request some help.

G Dan;

Your discription of lower Madison-western Yellowstone are about 60 miles apart. If you could say where the retreat is (as far as closest town) that would help. The Madison is like three different rivers all rolled into one depending on what section you fish.

One thing you can count on is........you can't count on the weather. This is the Rockies, pack .for cold/wind, hot/dry, mild/rain....be prepared.

The time of year would also be helpful.
