    Default Surprise!

    Went down to the local stream, see if I could catch a couple of natives. Saw this and realized I would probably be seeing something other than trout.


    Well...did see things other than trout, some of these (little smallies)



    and some of these (red breast)


    Just too warm for those little natives.

    How warm is the water back there now? i've been away and have not been reading many post so I don't have a clue. Glad to see you caught some fish even with warm conditions,

    Ard this stream has many deep pools and several waterfalls . You would think I could find a little cold water. 70 ws the best my thermometer would show and that's at a pool near a falls. It's cooling down a bit this week and we have rain so hopefully soon.
    Most of the streams here have good populations of smallies to at least make a day of it and you cant beat the scenery.

    Did the scenery have tan lies? Judging by that top or should I say lack there of, I bet she's a party girl!
