Thread: Woolly Buggers for Trout

  1. Wink Re: Woolly Buggers for Trout

I have been tying variations of the wolly bugger for 20 years now and they catch fish!! From California mountain streams to the South Holston in Virginia!!

My best variation right now is tied on a curved nymph hook. Sinks like a stone, fat as a grub and loved by all fish warm, or cold streams and lakes a like. I haven't used it for musky or walleye though. May have to tie something up for them one day!!

It delivers time and time again.
