I'll second those questions.

What the hell is that?
It looks fast and strong.

What's the fly?
Short shank hook / syn hair for a belly / a little flash and white bucktail on top? With a little bit color on the head...

They are regarded as a pest of a saltwater fish, but great fun on the fly.



The fly they seem to like is just some white bucktail and a few strands of flash.

That's funny, I thought you were sort of making a joke calling them Australian salmon. They look like neat fish to catch. Anything that takes a fly is not a trash fish to me!

Alex is right they are Pests Beautiful Fish really good to catch & they are usually everywhere along our Beaches however I'd Rather catch Silver Salmon anyday however even though I haven't caught them for a few years a couple of Die - Hard Fishing Mates up North are always wanting me to go with them to catch them.

Alex I Like The Allen Reel as I have 3,2 Series I & A Series II.
