Yes i happen to have that rod and use it for kings. But i have an eight weight because I also use it for steelhead.

Thank you, I'll have to try that. I imagine that the twitch causes a reflex reaction. They don't have much time to decide whether or not to strike.

I read with Atlantics on a dry flies that if you land the fly right on top of them they spook but I also read that some guides say to drop it right on top of them to **** them off and get them to strike.
