Hey folks on Thursday I depart on my first weekend long fishing trip. I hope to bring back lots of video and pictures of fish big and small and maybe some scenery photos. I will be fishing in some wonderful brookie territory where some north of 20'' have been caught and set free to swim another day. There may be some atlantics swimming around. I have my flat of Coors and a bottle of Robert Burns ready to go. Next week I hope to update this for y'all. Have a great week.

I've tied up a dozen John Leslie specials to go to the person who catches the biggest trout over the weekend.

Well I am back now and bad news. My go pro turned on in my pack on the way down and killed the battery. So no pictures yet. there is a silver lining in that one other guy had his camera and once he sends some pictures I will post them. We had some wonderful catches and my biggest was 16'', a personal best. We had a 23'' trout landed and one that was at least 26 if not 27'' that got away as it is barbless only and the line slacked for just a moment. Lots of laughs and great eats. 20" brookies? I really hope those pics come through. I think you've got us all hungry for a little "fish porn"!

Even if there are no photos, you had a great trip with an infinite number of still shots in your thoughts. Tough to share... but those are the best shots by far!
