Default Maryland Fly Fishing

Hello, i recently took up fly fishing a year or so ago as well as fly tying. I live in Maryland and was wondering if anyone else has fished this region and could give pointers on the trout fishing here(Hatches, techniques etc...) I have caught an abundance of trout on spinner rods and decided that it was not challenging enough anymore, but seem to be struggling extensively with getting trout to take flies. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Also the streams i fish are generally stocked annually, so the majority of the fish are not wild

Marlinboy,

I just bought a book titled "Guide to Maryland Trout Fishing" by Larry Coburn and Charlie Gelso that has a lot of information on where, when and what to use. I got it at BPS where Larry is now the manager of the Fly Fishing section. That said I am just starting out so I am surly no expert!
