Thanks!

I screwed up on my gripNgrin selfie (wiggle, drop, missed the net) and the fish swam away.... Fortunately I got a few in the net.Click the image to open in full size.

I went out lake fishing again this morning, ended up landing three out of the first five casts. Overall I landed 9-10 (lost count), my best day since the early spring. Today, I was more interested in counting all the risers I was seeing, I totaled 182. They come up once and then their gone, so it is hard to target them, besides it looks to me that they are eating tiny midges. Here are a few photos:

I went fishing again this morning, hit the lake at 6:30 am, it was 15 degrees when I left the house, but I had three layers on and fortunately there was no wind. Yesterday, it blew like crazy here. There wasn't much surface activity today, not sure if it was the cold front that moved in or not, but I landed six, lost three on the hook set.

I went fishing again this morning, had my best day ever, landed 16, lost four to LDR's, missed several hook sets and one bad knot. Argh!
The day started as a disaster, as I was approaching the area I wanted to fish, I stepped on the anchor release and the next thing I knew was that my anchor rope went all the way through the system, lost my anchor and a fancy anti-twist swivel. I tried fishing from shore but the wind was up and coming in over my left shoulder (I'm left handed), so I gave up on that. Then I came up with the idea of finding a triangular shaped rock I could use as an anchor and that worked just fine.
