Thumbs up Fishing in a cold rain (snow's fall is cool) + a good read.

Proper rain gear is a must for most of you but too many make 'wrong choices' as to 'what.' Great place to buy 'stuff' but this is one product I'll take a pass. How To Dress For Winter Fly Fishing

Nothing wrong with the coat EXCEPT it's far too short to be of any real good even in chest waders. My call is to get a rain coat (it doesn't have to be Gortex) that comes down to at least mid thigh.

Even you bend down you're 'covered.'

Just my .02 cents but it doesn't rain all that much in my part of the World. But when it does it can be a 'stay at home' gully washer.

Thanks for posting this. Plan on making a few winter outings this year in the Northeast for the first time. Definitely want to go prepared!
