Just got back from the Odgen River. Beautiful drive and river. Caught some really nice brown trout on a pheasant tail and midge. They have some healthy brownies there, I was impressed.

I also saw a hawk carrying a decent sized trout in its talons. It was a great outing. Thanks for the suggestions and all the help, you guys have been great!

Fished the Odgen again this morning for a couple of hours. Got three nice brown trout.

Nice, my stomping grounds! What section did you fish? Looks like the canyon from your pics

Yeah, I fished at a pull off marked for anglers and at the Oaks.

Looks like you got a good taste of fishing in Utah... and you punched your Cutthroat ticket!

Absolutely! Thanks to you guys. I really appreciate how all of you shared information on good fishing spots, water levels, flies, etc., with a complete stranger. If it wasn’t for you guys being so generous, I probably would have stuck to my original plan and would likely have gotten skunked. Thanks again!
