Default Hello All....Back after long departure

Hello Everyone. I joined a few years ago as Ontariooutdoorsman but work forced me to fish less tan anticipated lol.

I am making this the year that I use the gear previously purchased and am adding. I have caught local small browns and some steelhead as well as a couple salmon.

Hope to find some Canadian and Ontario fly fishers on here as Canadian Fly Fishing forums seem virtually non existent.

I will ask lots of questions and try to only give responses to what I have knowledge on

I hope you find more time this year to get out fly fishing.

From a map and some photos I've seen, Ontario (and Manitoba) look absolutely nuts for cold water fishing. I look forward to seeing your catches in the stickied pics threads.

Ontario has much better trout waters than Manitoba and Quebec has awesome waters as well. I live close to 3 awesome tributaries to Lake Ontario that have great steelhead runs and the Ganaraska River has been stocked with Atlantic Salmon that are now returning I have a few small streams close to me that require a 3 weight that have Browns and Speckles...Many of the lakes north of me have lake trout which I will be chasing plenty of after ice out this spring

Hope I can supply some good pics. Hope to get more fly fishing people involved in my area.
