Hello everybody, it's been long since my last post. I would like to share some shots of our first 2 days float trip with 1 overnight camping on the Caleufu River, close to San Martín de los Andes, North Patagonia Argentina.
We found the river with normal water levels for this time of the year, and quite a good quantity of snow on top of the mountains, so if spring thaw is normally carried out, we will have regular flows during the season. We mainly fished streamers with 24 feet sink tip lines and 7' 1/2" 1x leaders.
As usually, Caleufu let us caught some really nice browns, which, in some cases, are still spawning and we got really surprised with some awesome and very healthy rainbows.
Great times and friendship over all make this trip a great season kick off trip!
