Default Dirty Cork

I found that Mr Clean Magic Eraser cleaned all my cork handles and made them like new again. Just wet Magic Eraser under water and go for it. ring out and go over a few more time's the eraser will get crumble and dirty. but just keep going and see how well it works. Let us know if it works as well as it did for me.

Actually, it would be more informative to the membership if others trying this interesting idea would instead post how well it worked for them for all to read.

I only use rubbing alcohal and a rag for mine since the 70's. My rod builder says to also, others can harm glues and such..

ME TOO

Be careful with Magic Erasers, I know they look harmless but they are actually loaded with some serious chemicals. I have no idea how it would affect cork. I usually just pick off the fish scales when they're dry and keep fishing.

As do I. But, there is a point ... 0000 sand paper/wire-wool and job done in about 5 minutes.

"Patina" is everything!

I'll let you work that thought on your own time.
