Headin to Lake of the Woods

June 19th Nestor Falls area. Any advice on musky and Pike. What depth will they be at ? Any help much appreciated.

If your fly fishing........have a good outfit!!!!!!
Muskie are at all and every depth.......I know some like to fly fish them but Lake of The Woods has the Great Lakes strain of Muskie and they are not only long but deep and wide......personally fish muskie quite a bit but leave the fly rod at home when chasing 50 plus inch muskie....LOTW has plenty in that size.

Leavin Friday and will have both casting and fly setups. I can't throw a fly rod all day anyway. Hope to see something in the 40"+ range.

That brings back a lot of memories from the 1970's. A close friend that was a Canadian and I was up there looking over the Aulneau Peninsula for a possible Moose hunt that never came about. Absolutely beautiful country back than. Enjoy the fishing trip.
