Leonard 5 weight for sale? Anybody want?

I will post this in the classifieds, but thought I would tease it here. I have an 8' 3 pc five weight Leonard with factory tube and sock with two tips in almost new condition. ( The threads are pristine and the cork is lightly to medium stained). Using it here in Fl. would be a hanging offense. If you are interested please let me know.

Sounds like a model 50, is that what it is? If I were living in Pennsylvania still I'd want it, my Orvis bamboo rods were custom order types but I always felt like a second class citizen when someone mentioned Leonard around me.

Yeah, it's a model 50 3 7/8 ounce. I also have a Hardy Perfect pre war 2 5/8" that looks real good on it. C'mon Ard, you know you want it.

And where's the fun in that? I just bought a six weight I don't really need to replace one I didn't need at all and never liked. And that was bought to be a bush rod because I was afraid of breaking my beloved six weight RPL on canal trips. The thing is, that for a fly fisherman need is a very relative term and all those trout you photograph would much rather pose next to bamboo. It's classier, like erotica vs porn!
