Default Dolly Lama Tube Step by Step'

I actually have a business account although you would never guess it. I say this because this step by step is posted here Dolly Lama Tube Fly I catch trout - steelhead trout and Dolly Varden Char on this pattern and wouldn't hesitate to throw one in any river in this country.

The forum discourages linking to business sites like mine unless they are sponsors.

It's a good step by step and if you aren't already keen to the Dolly Lama then you owe it to yourself to try one. If you use a single hand 7 or 8 weight with WF line you'll be able to handle the original pattern. I've posted my work around which allows me to cast these things out to 80 - 100 feet with my rods.

Feed back appreciated here or there, thanks.

Looks like a good fall Steelhead fly for around here. Very nice!

I am also a fan of craft fur, nice stuff. So light and all the water comes out on the cast.

I'm doing really well with them Steve, I was just making a few more and thought I should share the technique. They are similar to many of the other things I fish albeit for the color scheme. The fish here find them irresistible and now that I adapted them to the tubes I enjoy using them.

    Thanks for the feed back
