A slight variation of the Orange and Turkey. Getting the turkey wings to set properly definitely takes some practice. Those with an underwing...... definitely add some difficulty. The first couple wing sets blew apart.

Nice fly tying Mike, BTW, I bought another Taupo reel :) I've been using my old Cascapedia all year so far and while it is pretty and works well I miss the howl of the pawls that the perfect delivers when I get a runner.

I kept the 4 1/4 but unless I use my big Hardy King rods I don't use the reel. The Taupo goes for trout, light salmon and steelhead so I did in fact miss it. Hard to believe but I replaced it with an unused reel that is 6 years old and came out 80 bucks ahead. There's that 'is this really my reel' thing to cope with but I'm sure soon as I get on with a good fish that makes it make noise it'll be mine.
