Tried again this morning with this one. Changed up the hook and wing material. Added some sparkle to dubbing also.

You must have a huge store of materials to achieve all these colors in such a wide variety of feathers etc.

Have you been to a fly shop lately? I rarely leave a shop without picking something up. I’ve been at this over 35 years.....so yeah I might have a feather or two.

I was at one about a week ago and bought a cape I don't really need, but more often than not, the profusion of brilliant materials overwhelms me and I leave in confusion, to go home and sort through the pheasant feathers for a suitable size. I forgot to get the muskrat that I wanted...
