    Just curious, are most of the wings made out of mallard flank? Im barely past tying wooly buggers and a few nymphs so I dont really have much experience with any of those materials. They look really great though and are tempting me to try some

    Colored wings are duck or goose quill. The speckled wings are turkey or peacock, some are Guinea wing quill, some are mallard flank our teal flank. All sorts really. Depends on the pattern.get yourself a copy of Trout by ray Bergman from Amazon or some where for about $10, all the materials are listed there, or check out the ray Bergman collection at hatches online.
