Been tipped off that there is a sweet section of a local creek that has had dragon flys hatching all over and the fish are in a feeding frenzy. Short on time to go buy some flies so Im wondering if anyone has a super simple dragon fly pattern for trout?

While I can't think of the names off the top of my head, I've seen people make dragonflies with foam, allowing for extended abdomens and such. So maybe a body of cut foam, wrapped with d-rib to create segmentation, some sort of wings, maybe using a wing burner, and maybe a hackle collar for the legs? Not sure what to do about the giant eyes :D

I have seen the extended foam bodies with ribbing, I would have to learn how to do that but I wasnt sure how to do the wings, I thought about possibly making some wings out of plastic? Like a sandwich bag? What color are their legs? I have some light and dark brown hackle that should work great.
