    Default egg sucking leach on a 1/8 oz jig?

    I have a bunch of 1/8 oz hooks with the jig head and I wonder if they would work as egg sucking leaches with the Pb head painted orange and with rabbit as the body?

    Yeah I am trying to recycle material from a previous life, the 60's in Iowa City Iowa:-)

    If you have a lake where there are plenty of leech's they should be good. If you are going to cast them overhead just work on your timing because they will hurt if you misfire. If I had them I would jig for pike through the ice............ Thanks for another idea for the winter

    Very common Steelhead jig used by spinning guys on the Salmon River.
    Works well! I've seen the head painted orange ,black and chartreuse with either black or purple bodies.
