    Default Distance lines ?

Another fly line question if I may ....

What do the distance lines by SA and the new one by Airflo Super Dry have going for them that make them a long distance fly line ?

Is it just a longer belly ?

Are there and disadvantages to fishing a distance line ?

    Thanks !

From my understanding most "distance" lines are just integrated shooting heads... Instead of buying a shooting head and then a separate running line... That's why they are so long... Usually 120' in length or longer... Downside... They probably don't cast well at close range...
