Ill be looking at some at bps sunday most likly, I want to be able to try a few sizes on and decide, plus I think the xl might be a bit big. just wondering though, is the foot fairly snug fitting? reason I ask is I have some neoprene boots that fit really tight on a bare foot, but i think might stretch enough to fit the wader sock in,,

No, I didn't think they were very snug in my old pair. I used to wear two pairs of socks, one wool, when I wore them. It will all depend on your shoe size and what size wader you get though.
