The Sunbeams are very fine reels and make a great 6 weight reel in spite of the 7/8 designation. I had the same reel about ten years ago myself, the agate line guard is reversible for right / left hand winding. Good drag tension too with these reels.

Wish I were in the market foe a new 7 or 8 WT reel.

225.00 delivered is a good price for a Sunbeam in this kind of shape. This would be an awesome reel for a 9 - 10' 6 weight graphite rod or an 8' bamboo in 5/6.
