I used to run pointers for grouse hunting. That was when I was young and lived in the mountains of North Central Pennsylvania. Other than photographs and memories I have little left from those days which spanned from the 1970's into the mid 1990's.

I do however still have my H&R designed training pistol made by New England Firearms in .22 caliber. Winchester sells a black powder .22 short that will sound off like a 32 cal., surprisingly loud report they have. This was my training pistol for starting puppies in the field.

Note: this is a blank gun not a real pistol.
It will not fire bullets and can be mailed to you no problem.

All steel construction with a blued cylinder and pin.

Comes with a quality hand stitched leather holster offering a perfect fit.

This is a substantial training pistol, not one of those plastic types. It fills the palm and has a good heft to it.

Makers Mark is on frame and medallions in the walnut grips.

A quality training aid for the bird dog man. If you love those dogs and love good dog tack and training aids you'll enjoy owning this as much as I did.

$90.00 plus postage to you. They are still available at 199.00 or 170.00 on sale...........
