Default Mammoth creek

Greeting:
We're planning a trip to to Mammoth lakes, next month and staying at Mammoth RV park. Usually when we go to that area, we work our way up to June lake, Rush creek and down to the upper owen's. I heard that right next to the town of Mammoth lakes, there a creek and the fishing is supposed to be decent. Had anyone been there and tried the creek? All these times we've been there, we've never heard of it..
thanks in advance.
Manny
