Don't overlook the Wulff Ambush series of lines. While they are more like a Skagit head than anything else, they will move the kind of sinking leaders Ard and other are talking about. The only down side is that you do have to strip the head back to rod tip to recast it. I'm also going to try a light weight scandi line with a weighted tip with streamers. We'll see how it works.

Yes the outbound with the floating running and intermediate head was the one I was most zeroed in on for tossing streamers. Glad to hear you like em'. I was pondering using a rio Versileader with this? What would you recommend to get a bit faster sink rate with the intermediate head?

If u were to use a poly leader, I wouldn't use more than a 5 foot section of it. the feel to me is clunky with anything longer. For massive sink rates, I use an in touch deep 7. I use the lefty kreh method to roll cast then cast in a circle.
They have more sink rates in the outbound, though. It's worth checking out.

I'll take a look at the SA line...a sinking runnin line will definitely be detrimental since all I do is wade fish.
If you are mainly wading, I wouldn't recommend it then...
