I hate those right-facing-fish lines! They stink! I only use the left-facing-fish lines and have never been disappointed.

Oh man. I feel silly now. How did I miss that? I'll have to get the first box, because I usually net fish that are facing to the left.

The newer line also has welded loops at both ends!

What knot do you guys use to attack backing to a welded loop? I've always had lines that didn't have a back loop and simply used a nail knot to attack the backing.

Use a loop to loop connection. I use a Bimini Twist in the backing but a surgeons loop or for that matter any nonslip loop knot will work. With that connection you can change out a fly line in a snap. Make the loop big enough to fit over the reel.
