Default Inexpensive trout line?

I'm looking for someting like the Rio Gold line that is much cheaper for my 3 wt. Any suggestions?

Yes try the Allen. They really hit the spot for the price. Ive got one on my 9wt Allen setup. Ive got both the floating line and a sink tip. I am really happy with both.

Allen for sure....I have 6 rods lined in various sizes, colors, etc. Allens new two color line is very nice for a build in strike indicator....you will not find a better value for the money.

All I've ever recieved has a welded loop and I have not had any issues.

A little too late, but there was a deal here last week for Shark Skin GPX for $39. I got the three weight...Wahooo

I got a free RIO Mainstream from the place where I bought my reel, and they tied/glued a loop on for me, but it seems to sink at the tip when I place it on top of water, which my RIO Gold does not do, I think I might replace this with a Gold or an Allen line.
