  1. Default Fly line reccomend for 9' 5 weight Greys Streamflex

I've just recently ordered a 9' 5 weight Greys Streamflex and am looking for some ideas on line selection. I'm interested in an all around line...something I can fish dries on, but also be able to use an indicator rig or strip a few streamers. I've heard the action of the rod described as having a more traditional moderate feel.

I've looked at Sharkskin...GPX and Ultimate Trout Taper, as well as RIO Gold. Any thoughts on these or others would be appreciated. Thanks!

Since you know the action of the rod, base your choice on the load that the line will provide.

    Tip to midsection load:
Scientific Anglers Sharkskin UTT, Scientific Anglers Mastery Trout, Rio Gold, Cortland Precision Platnium.

    Midsection to grip load:
Scientific Anglers Sharkskin GPX, Scientific Anglers Mastery GPX, Rio Grand.

I just don't think you can go wrong. With a slower rod I'd also consider a Sylk line from Cortland. It has very little memory.
