I agree on the rod pairing recommendations, but I learned a lot from reading this article. They gathered a ton of data on taper design and weight that's useful regardless of what rod you pair the line with.

Weird that there's a marketing push, but there's good content here worth resurfacing.

NOBODY can tell you what line works with what rod...you have your own individual casting stroke, what you think might be cool, perhaps somebody else couldn't cast it, or thinks it sucks. CB
