Bead RealFlyColor Bead 2.4mm Steelhead Blue
Thread Gordon Griffith's Sheer, 14/0 olive
Tail Two strands of Smolt Blue Krystal Flash
Tag and Rib UTC Ultra Wire x-small, copper
Body Krystal Flash, Light Blue
Thorax Peacock herl
Special tying notes Place bead on hook small hole first. Tie in tail. Tie in copper wire and take several turns for tag. Leave excess wire trailing off rear of hook. Tie in Krystal Flash strands and wrap body. Wind copper wire in open turns for rib. Add peacock and wrap 2-3 turns for thorax. Whip and tie off directly behind bead.
Target species Trout
Fishing notes Excellent imitation for sowbug and scuds. Great for nutirent rich tailwaters, spring creeks, ponds and lakes where sowbugs and scuds are found.
