Tail | One strand of rubber leg material tied in at middle to form 2 tails. White and black barred centipede legs here.
Body | Solid or variegated chenille. Olive chenille.
Rib | Optional fine silver wire or gold wire. Not used here.
Legs | Two strands of rubber leg material tied in by the middle to form 4 legs.
Antennae | On versions without beads only, tie in strand of rubber leg material by middle to form 2 antennae
Special tying notes | In large sizes it imitates a big stonefly nymph, and is also a good buggy fly for smallmouth and largemouth bass. In smaller sizes it’s an excellent panfish fly. It is also used for trout and steelhead in all sizes. Feel free to vary sizes and colors. (Yellow white legs is a great color combo for panfish)
