I need some info on a Pflueger Supreme 1794 fly reel. It was made in Korea. What is the quality of this reel? Any other info would be appreciated.

Assuming that the 1794 Supreme is the same size as a 1494 Medalist, it would be a good size for a 6wt line.

One of a series of fly reels put out by Pflueger (these had a disk drag if memory serves). The Chart above 'recommends' the reel for up a 5wt fly rod.
Been years since I've seen one (actually had a few for light trout fishing) but if you're looking at buying an 'old' Pflueger I'd (personally) recommend the Medalist line. The 1595 1/2 RC (and its slightly bigger brother) are as close to 'bullet proof' as you can get. The 1500 series also has as close to a 'no-fail' drag system as you'll ever find.

I note you were (from memory here only) having problems with the drag system. Don't know if Pflueger did/could address the issue .....
The old standby the Medalist was, and remains 'indestructible.' Same design (just different sizes) built over .... what? .... 50'ish years? Still work with minimal maintenance. And still cost fifty bucks?
