    Joni's right, buy the Sharkskin Trout. (GPX is too heavy for that rod)

    WHAT? 1/2 size is all. I use it on glass and bamboo, no problem and actually makes it even easier.

    I'm going to disagree with you on that one Cliff. I use GPX on my 4w 'glass rods and they handle them great. The 5w I use the Trout Taper. As for the GPX, being the gear ***** I am, I never even thought about it being any heavier. It doesn't overload my Lami's or Steffan.

    No offense intended, but glass fan's definition of "overloaded" is way different than it is for the rest of us. I regularly fish a 8' 5wt Avid, and have to baby it to keep from overloading the thing.
