Dave, on the pic thing. When i get that part of this site figured out you'll be bombarded with some pics. It's similiar to our car site but something is different. I cant wait. I have milestones in my life and that's one of em.

    eddy,

here's the way i figured out how to post pics-

open your pic in your image hosting site (i use flickr)

select the size you want, 600 x 400 is good

right click and select "copy image location"

in your post, paste the image location you just copied

    now preview post

in the preview, you will see the image location with 2 sets of [url] brackets on each end

change these brackets to [img] on both ends

preview to be sure you typed it correctly and you should be on track.

I just bought a Hardy Ultralite CC 2000 reel for my new 3wt rod. It's a masterpiece.

The hardy looks decent...it's a bit pricey...

The guy at bass pro told me if i liked their ultralight store brand, i should just go for the orvis battenkill, for 25 bucks more. I think he even mentioned that orvis makes white river products...amazing...however, there is no warranty with their products, and orvis usually has lifetime or 25 years or whatever the case...

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the J.A.Forbes magnesium reel, at 2.2ounces, or their aluminum equivelant at 2.4 ounces. The aluminum is made in the U.K., and the magnesium forged in their facility in Japan. Both are click-pawl, which is all you need for a 3wt. Right now, the magnesium is on sale on Ebay at $79.00.
