Hey folks...brand-spankin'-new at this, so bear with me. My father-in-law just gave me a TFO LK Pro Series 9 Wt. rod for striper fishing here in New England and for snook & redfish in Charlotte Harbor; I just ordered a Redington Surge reel through Norm Zeigler's on Sanibel Island, FL and was wondering if some folks here could give me some feedback on the reel/rod/combo, etc. I didn't wanna break the bank on a reel right from the get-go, so I think I made a good choice for a budget reel, but we'll see in due time.
