Hey, I'm new to fly fishing and just purchased my first fly rod. It's a custom with a tfo bvk blank 9 ft 7 weight. I need help picking out a fly reel. Ill mainly be using it inshore for redfish, trout, and snook, and maybe the occasional bonefish. I want something that can last. My priorities are a sealed drag and a large arbor as well as being machined not diecast. Weight is also a factor. My budget is 250 dollars. I'd like to stay under that if at all possible. I've been looking at the orvis hydros and the 3 tand tf 70. Does anyone have any experience with the 3 tand vikn? It's above my budget but if it's worth the extra cash I may be able to splurge a little.
Thanks

Trident Fly (a sponsor) has a new eight weight reel shootout and they liked the Hydros. You may also like the Lamson reels. Sierra Trading Post has some Lamson Lightspeeds on sale at really good prices.

Take a look at Colton reels. They're made in the US, designed for saltwater, are tough as nails, and are extremely affordable.
