Does Cabelas Watershed Reel Look Like a Ross Rhythm??

Just as Ross discontinued the Rhythm, the Cabelas Watershed appears:
CLICK HERE It has the same spool as the
Rhythm, and the Evolution's frame. It's also made in the USA. Is this just
my imagination, or is Ross making reels for Cabelas? Nothing wrong with that,
just wondering.......

I was thinking the same thing. It looks like they took a Rhythm and ported the frame a little more. Spools look identical. The font of the lettering on the reel seat even looks the same.

It is possible but there is nothing wrong with that the big box stores do it all the time. For example from experiencing working in the footwear section of Cabela's some of the Cabela's boots are made by companies like Danner, Wolerine, Lacrosse, and Rocky. But they never tell customers that. It is cheaper for Cabela's to put there name on products that other companies instead of them manufacturing it.

Hi Guys,
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it. In fact, it's probably a good
thing for people who liked the Rhythm reels. The Cabelas version is less
expensive, and looks a tad lighter.
