  1. Default Lamson Litespeed Hard Alox 1.5

I'm looking at this reel for my new Redington 7.6 4w. Love the weight of it.
I'm forced to order it on line so any opinions would be great.

    Thanks

Hi,I'm not sure you'll follow my advice but...I've been fishing with Vivarelli reels for more than 20 years an I have found nothing better, light, solid, easy and pleasant to use,no need to turn a handle all the time,no line in the water or in your feet...only defect the brake is not easy to adjust but when you're uded to it,no problem.

Lubina: I have two Lamson Litespeed 2's that I use on my 5 wt Orvis TLS rods. The Lamson fly reels are top notch construction with a tremendously smooth drag system.

I got a Litespeed 1 for my 7'9" 4 wt. I like this reel, maybe, better than my Ross Rhythms. It's very light and the drag is great. Quality of construction is also top notch. I must say this, though. I can find no fault in my Ross reels, either.
